Natural bamboo plates that babies love and parents trust
Plastic plates leach. Silicone plates absorb that soapy dishwasher smell after a few months. And melamine? Best not to think about it. Bamboo does none of those things. It is a natural, sustainable material that stays smooth, clean, and beautiful meal after meal.
Every bamboo bamboo plate comes with a food-safe silicone suction ring that locks to any smooth highchair tray or table. Your child focuses on eating. You focus on something other than diving to catch a flying plate. The sections in each plate keep different foods separated, which helps with variety, portion awareness, and the particular brand of logic that says sweetcorn must never touch the pasta.
Choose from over ten animal designs including elephants, bunnies, foxes, unicorns, and more. Each one is designed to make mealtimes a little more fun and a lot less stressful. No plastic. No microplastics. No BPA, phthalates or melamine. Just bamboo, silicone, and a genuinely good time at the table.

Why choose bamboo over silicone or plastic plates?
Bamboo is a natural material that does not leach chemicals into food, does not absorb smells or flavours over time, and does not end up in the ocean at the end of its life. Silicone plates can develop a soapy taste after months of dishwasher cycles, and plastic plates can degrade and shed microplastics with regular use. Bamboo stays neutral, looks beautiful on the table, and feels more grown-up as your child gets older. Our plates combine a bamboo eating surface with a silicone suction base underneath, giving you the best of both materials.
How strong is the suction on your bamboo plates?
Strong enough that parents have tried to pull the plate off themselves and could not. The silicone suction ring creates an airtight seal on any smooth, flat surface and holds through grabbing, banging, and focused toddler determination. For the best results, press the plate down firmly on a clean, dry surface. The suction works brilliantly on plastic highchair trays, glass, and kitchen countertops.
What age are bamboo baby plates suitable for?
From the very first bite of solid food right through the toddler years and beyond. Most babies start weaning around six months, and our plates work just as well for a determined two-year-old as they do for a curious six-month-old. The suction ring is removable, so when your child is old enough to eat without launching the plate, you can take it off and use the plate on its own.
How long do bamboo plates last?
With proper care, years. Wash with warm soapy water and dry straightaway after each use. Do not soak, microwave, or put them in the dishwasher. The silicone suction ring and our silicone-tipped spoons are dishwasher safe on the top rack. Many of our customers tell us their plates are still going strong after two or three children, which is more than most plastic plates can say.
